Voice for Victims Foundation provides support to people affected by crime, based on an assessment of individual circumstances, priorities and safety considerations.

Access to services is subject to eligibility, available funding, location and the availability of local services. Not all forms of assistance may be available in every situation.

Voice for Victims Foundation reserves the right to limit, decline or discontinue services where a person is assessed as not being eligible for the services offered, where resources are unavailable, or where behaviour towards staff, volunteers or service providers is abusive, threatening or inappropriate.

Any decisions regarding service access are made to ensure the safety, sustainability and integrity of our services.

 

7. Fundraising and Authority to Fundraise

Supporter-led fundraising activities are organised and managed independently by the fundraiser.

Submitting a fundraising form does not automatically authorise fundraising on our behalf.

Where appropriate, we will issue an Authority to Fundraise letter confirming permission to fundraise for a specific activity.

Fundraisers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant Queensland laws, permits, insurance and safety requirements.

 

8. Donations

Voice for Victims Foundation Ltd is a registered Australian charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement. All cash donations of $2 or more are tax deductible in accordance with Australian taxation law.

Online donations made through this website are processed using a secure third-party payment platform. While we take care to use reputable systems, we are not responsible for technical issues or interruptions that may occur outside our control.

Tax receipts are issued as follows:

  • Online donations: A tax receipt is issued automatically at the time of donation.
  • Direct deposit donations: To receive a tax receipt, donors must email their contact details and donation information to us after making the transfer.
  • Gifts in kind and pro bono services: Tax receipts cannot be issued for non-cash donations.
