Yes. We ask that you register your fundraising idea using the form below before you begin. This helps us understand what you’re planning, offer guidance where appropriate, and ensure activities align with the values and purpose of Voice for Victims Foundation.

Registering also allows us to confirm that fundraising activities are genuinely supporting our organisation and that our name is used appropriately. Once registered, approved fundraisers will receive an Authority to Fundraise letter, which confirms you are fundraising on behalf of Voice for Victims Foundation.

Supporter-led fundraisers are organised and run by the supporter. Our team can provide guidance and support where possible, and in some cases may be able to attend an event, assist with a guest speaker, or help with practical elements such as branding, approved wording, and payment options (including use of our payment terminals).

As a small organisation, our capacity varies, but we’ll always do what we reasonably can to support your fundraising efforts.

Yes. Queensland has specific requirements for raffles and some fundraising activities, including rules about permits, gaming and the handling of funds.

It’s important that fundraisers ensure any necessary permits or approvals are in place. We’re happy to provide general guidance, but responsibility for compliance sits with the fundraiser.

If you set up an online fundraising page through our website, funds will be transferred to us automatically.

For offline fundraising (such as cash or EFTPOS collected at an event), we’ll provide guidance on the safest and most appropriate way to transfer funds once your fundraiser is registered.

No. Supporter-led fundraising activities are organised and run independently and are not covered by Voice for Victims Foundation’s insurance.

It’s the responsibility of the fundraiser to ensure appropriate insurance, permits and safety measures are in place for their activity.

We’re happy to discuss your idea and provide general guidance, but insurance and risk management remain the responsibility of the organiser.
